Knowledge of Menu pts	Exemplary Can recite the menu as well as answer specific questions pertaining to course ingredients and taste qualities.	Excellent Can answer customer questions pertaining to menu. Answers about specific courses are general in nature.	Fair Has limited knowledge of menu items.	Poor Not familiar with menu items. Unable to answer questions pertaining to menu.
Politeness pts	Exemplary Makes eye contact when conversing. Promptly introduces him/her self. Always puts customers needs first.	Excellent Introduces him/her self. Makes eye contact w/ customer. Sometimes puts customers needs first.	Fair Introduces him/her self. Rarely puts customers needs first.	Poor No introductions or eye contact. Behavior borders on rudeness. Customers' needs are not meet.
Efficiency pts	Exemplary Service is intentional and prompt. Drinks are refilled without prompting. Food is delivered quickly and is the perfect temperature. Customer does not have to ask for check.	Excellent Drinks are sometimes refilled w/o prompting. Food is sometimes delivered promptly at the right temperature. Customer has to sometimes ask for check.
