Recognizes Shapes Student can identify the following shapes: circle, square, triangle and rectangle.	Poor Student is unable to label at least 2 shapes verbally or by pointing.	Fair Student is able to label at least 2 shapes verbally or by pointing.	Good Student is able to label all shapes verbally.
Sorts Items Student sorts items by color, shape and size.	Poor Student is unable to sort at least 7/10 items by color, shape and size.	Fair Student is able to sort at least 7/10 items by color, shape and size.	Good Students is able to sort at least 9/10 items by color, shape and size
Identifies Body Parts Student can identify at least 6 body parts.	Poor Student is unable to identify at least 4 body parts either verbally or receptively.	Fair Student is able to verbally identify at least 4/6 body parts	Good Student is able to verbally identify 5/6 body parts.
Understands Concept Words Student understands the following concept words: up, down, in, out, behind and over.	Poor Student is unable to describe the position of an object related to another object using the appropriate concept word in 3/6 opportunities or less.	Fair Student is able to describe the position of an object related to another object using the appropriate concept word in 3/6 opportunities.
