Fluency 16 pts	Excellent Student communicates appropriate information in logical, interesting sequence. Speech is natural and continuous; pauses are natural (similar to those of a native speaker). ALWAYS answers in complete sentences.	Good Student communicates appropriate information in logical sequence which audience can follow. Slight stumbling and pauses at unnatural points. Student speaks mostly in complete sentences.	Fair Is difficult to follow because student jumps around; stumbles too much; has long unnatural pauses; has difficulty rephrasing. Uncomfortable communication. Student uses several phrases, rather than complete sentences.	Poor Cannot understand because of confusing sequence; long and numerous pauses; utterances left unfinished; information not related to the topic or conversation. Student uses little or no complete sentences.
Vocabulary 16 pts	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge of intermediate vocabulary with elaboration.	Good Student is at ease with expected vocabulary, but fails to elaborate.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with Intermediate vocabulary; incorporates very basic vocabulary.
