Students must demonstrate their ability to accurately evaluate musical performances by writing a reflective piece utilizing appropriate musical terminology. Each student must do this with a minimal score of 80% in order to gain success in the "content" domain.

Poor

The student was unable to convey their understanding of the course in written form with proper musical terminology (0%-30% of the content was acceptable).
Fair

The student was slightly able to convey their understanding of the course in written form with proper musical terminology (30%-60% of the content was acceptable).
Good

The student was mostly able to convey their understanding of the course in written form with proper musical terminology (60%-90% of the content was acceptable).
Excellent

The student was able to convey their understanding of the course in written form well with proper musical terminology (100% of the content was acceptable).
Spelling/Grammar/Punctuation
30 %

Students must demonstrate their ability to accurately write a reflective piece with minimal structural difficulty. Each student must do this with at least a score of 80% in order to gain success in the "Spelling/Grammar/Punctuation/etc." domain.

Poor

The student made many spelling/grammatical/punctuation/etc. mistakes in the reflective piece (0%-30% without errors).
Fair

The student made occassional spelling/grammatical/punctuation/etc. mistakes in the reflective piece (30%-60% without errors).
Good

The student made few spelling/grammatical/punctuation/etc. mistakes in the reflective piece (60%-90% without errors).
Excellent

The student did not make any spelling/grammatical/punctuation/etc. mistakes in the reflective piece (100% without errors).
