Book Banning Presentation 
This Rubric will be use to Formally Assess the students in their presentation of their Banned Book projects. Key Criteria for this project include: time limit, content, use of multimedia tools, and organization.

Presentation illustrates a complete understanding of book banning and good research is presented to the audience.

Presentation lacks a sense of complete understanding of book banning, though some positive elements are apparent in the presentation.
Fair

Presentation understands general concepts associated with book banning, however lacks the attention to content details necessary for an effective presentation.
Poor

Presentation shows poor effort on the part of the student, going so far as to suggest not having done much research, or research done is obviously not their own.
Organization

Excellent

Presentation is well organized, information is clearly stated and there is a natural flow between topics. Good points are brought up and even some questions posed to the audience
Good

Organization of the presentation made the flow of the presentation have some bumps along the way, though overall the intent was clear.
Fair

A distinct lack of organization is apparent throughout the presentation, illustrating the lack of practice and effort on the part of the student.
Poor

Presentation shows little to no effort on the part of the student. Organization is not present, and is presented more as impromptu.
Use of Multimedia

Excellent

The use of a multimedia tool is apparent and is used to enhance the learning of fellow students.
Good

Though multimedia tools are present, the use of them was not effective, and it didn't really add much to your presentation.
Fair

Multimedia tools, while present, lack the necessary components to add anything to your presentation, and in fact might detract from making it effective.
Poor

Little to no use of multimedia tools which results in making your presentation quite dry and boring.
