Craftsmanship	Excellent Great care and time were given in the design of the mask. The elements and principles of art are clearly evident. The mask is aesthetically appealing and shows no flaws. Mask is sturdy.	Good The mask design was well thought out and planned using elements and principles of art. There are a few flaws and/or marks, but these do not detract from the overall look. Most of the mask is sturdy	Poor The mask looks thrown together at the last minute. It appears that little design or planning was done. The mask is flimsy and falls apart easily. It may not last for display.
Elements/Symbol Mask	Excellent Students successfully integrated the use of colour, texture, design and other creative elements to express identity. Symbols are clearly representative of character.	Good Students used moderate to minimal techniques to achieve detail and quality. Symbols are somewhat vaguely representative of character.	Poor No effort has been made in terms of making symbolic connection. No symbols. Elements aren't representative of character leaving me guessing - 'Who is this supposed to represent?'
