Knowledge of Emotions

Level 1

Student can identify less than 2 emotions. Student can list very little detail for each emotion. Student shows very little evidence of understanding the effects emotion have on people.
Level 2

Student can identify 2 emotions. Student can give few details for each emotion. Student recognises few of the effects of emotion.
Level 3

Student can identify 2-3 emotions. Student can give some details for each emotion. Student can recognise some of the effects of emotion.
Level 4

Student can identify 3 or more emotions. Student can give extensive details for each emotion. Student can easily recognise the effects of emotion.
Emotions in Yourself&Relationships

Level 1

Student shows little understanding of the role "bad" emotions play in a person's life. Student shoes little idea of the zones.
Level 2

Student somewhat understands the role of "bad" emotions. Student shoes some evidence of zones knowledge.
Level 3

Student understands that "bad" emotions are normal and human, and the role they play. Student shows a good understanding of the zones.
Level 4

Student clearly understands and can identify the role "bad" emotions play. Student clearly understands the zones and works them clearly into the scenarios.
Emotional Strategies

Level 1

Student shows little to no evidence of strategies or solutions.
Level 2

Student can identify at least 1 strategy for a scenario. Student does not clearly link strategy to zone.
Level 3

Student identifies a number of strategies for a scenario and begins to link them to the zones.
Level 4

Student has a large number of strategies, identifies possible outcomes both positive and negative, and links them clearly with the zones.
Emotional Regulation

Level 1

Student does not understand emotional regulation, and does not understand its importance. Student has difficulties understanding how to remain in control of emotions.
Level 2

Student somewhat understands emotional regulation, and its importance. Student is beginning to understand how to control emotions.
Level 3

Student understands emotional regulation, and its importance. Student can identify how to remain in control of your emotions.
Level 4

Student has a thorough understanding of why emotional regulation is important. Student can identify several ways to remain in control of your emotions.
Communication

Level 1

Student has many difficulties expressing ideas (orally/written). Student makes many spelling and grammatical errors. Student is

Student has some difficulties expressing ideas (orally/written). Student makes some spelling and grammatical errors.
