Criteria
	Below average Student is unable to play both parts. Several note/ rhythmic errors. (N/A)	Approaching Student is able to play both parts hands separately. Student is struggling to keep a steady beat. Few note/ rhythmic errors. (N/A)	Meets standard Student is able to play both parts hands separately or together. Student is able to keep a steady beat. (N/A)	Exceeds standard Student shows a high level of musicality. Student is able to play both parts together. Student is able to keep a steady beat. (N/A)
Chords Student is able to play the chords of C maj- A min- F maj- G maj in root position or inversion with the R/H in the correct progression	Below average Plays some of the chords correctly.	Approaching Plays more than half of the chords correctly with adequate fingering choices.	Meets standard Plays almost all of the chords correctly with good fingering choices.	Exceeds standard Plays every chord correctly with excellent fingering choices.
Bass line Students are able to perform the bass line of "Stand By Me" at a steady tempo using the L/H	Below average Plays some of the bass line with adequate rhythmic sense.	Approaching Plays more than half of the bass line with adequate rhythmic sense.	Meets standard Plays almost all of the bass line with a good rhythmic sense.	Exceeds standard Plays all of the bass line with excellent rhythmic sense.
