Poor

Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information. There is no order in the presentation
Fair

Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around. There is an attempt at order, but seems unplanned/ illogical
Good

Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow. Order exists, but is not organized.
Excellent

Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. Order example: Word introduced, activity aligned, why you selected that activity, how it relates to the world, how it can help someone to remember it/learn it
Subject Knowledge

Poor

Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.
Fair

Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.
Good

Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent

Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Visual

Poor

Student does not use any sensory (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.) tools to support presentation.
Fair

Student uses an undecipherable or 1 sensory tool to support presentation
Good

Student uses between 1-2 sensory tools to support presentation.
Excellent

Student uses at least 3 sensory tools and they are concise and explain/reinforce presentation.
Mechanics/ Speech

Poor

Student's presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors on visuals. Multiple examples of informal language
Fair

Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Some examples of informal language
Good

Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Minimal examples of informal language
Excellent

Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors. Uses formal academic language unless to enhance a particular portion of the presentation
Time

Poor

Student presentation is less than 30 seconds or more than 3 minutes
Fair

Student presentation is either more than 30 seconds but less than 1 or more than 2 and 1/2 minutes but less than 3 minutes
Good

Student presentation is either approximately 1 minutes or slightly exceeds 2 minutes.
Excellent

Student presentation is between 1-2 minutes.
