Drama- Group recitation of a Halloween poem 
Students will work in small group to recite a Halloween poem incorporating as many different vocal effects to add interest, and to build vocal skills and strategies.

Students are obviously unprepared for the task. No evidence of any rehearsals.
Posture / Eye Contact

Level 4

The students stand up straight, are relaxed and confidant, establish and maintains eye contact with the audience throughout the presentation.
Level 3

The students stand up straight most of the time, are confidant and make eye contact with the audience most of the time.
Level 2

The students stand straight but lack confidence. They make an attempt to establish eye contact but do not maintain the contact.
Level 1

The students slouch, look uncomfortable and make no eye contact with the audience at all.
Vocal effects:

The students use vocal effect very successfully to convey the emotion of the poem.

The students use vocal effects to convey the emotion of the poem.

The students do not speak clearly, mispronounce words and are inaudible to the audience.
