Sketching Requirements	Poor Student did at least one sketch. Student didn't include all of the following: a plant, rock, tree and sky. And/or the student did not include a close up, showing texture.	Fair Student completed between 2 - 4 sketches, including a plant, rock, tree and sky in any combination. At least one sketch was a close up, showing texture.	Good Student completed 5 sketches, including a plant, rock, tree and sky in any combination. At least one sketch was a close up, showing texture.
Highlighting	Poor Did not apply highlights.	Fair An attempt at highlighting was made but was messy or more highlighting needed.	Good Highlighted correctly and neatly using highlighting techniques.
Shading	Poor Did not apply shading.	Fair An attempt at shading was made but was messy or more shading needed.	Good Shaded neatly using both shading techniques.
Writing Requirements	Poor Student wrote the date and location on less than two of the sketches and/or didn't write a description or note on at least one.
