	Good 3.33 pts	Fair 2.75 pts	Poor 1.5 pts
Discussion Question Answer	Good Response is well thought out and referenced. References are well cited and the response has been proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation	Fair Response is well thought out, but text or other references are not cited; some minor grammatical errors are present.	Poor Response is not well thought out, researched, or answered. Grammatical errors make it difficult to follow.
Posted Responses	Good Student comments regularly and the communication is positive, thoughtful, and interactive. Student moves the discussion forward, drawing others out.	Fair Student participates at the minimum required level. Student remains positive and supportive in their communication with other students.	Poor Student fails to meet minimum participation levels. Communication appears negative, disinterested, or disrespectful.
Timeliness	Good Meets all deadlines.	Fair Missed an occasional deadline but completes all required questions and responses.	Poor Failed to meet the majority of deadlines or complete the majority of assignments.
