Student has not prepared for the presentation. Reads off the slide.

Student has prepared slightly, but still needs prompts.

Student has prepared an explanation for the powerpoint and can answer questions.

Student is prepared and knows what to say, but has no prepared explanation; the explanation of the powerpoint is more like a conversation than a rehearsed speech.

Student does not communicate their ideas clearly. Reads word for word from powerpoint. Stumbles. Unable to pronounce words. No explanation of powerpoint slides.

Student has some difficulties communicating ideas. Difficulty with pronunciation. Majority of slides directly read with minimal paraphrasing.

Student in general speaks well. Ideas are generally clear. Minimal difficulty with correct pronunciation. Some slides read directly without further explanation.

Students ideas are clear and are delivered in an eloquent fashion. Pronounced words correctly. Did not read from powerpoint directly. Paraphased or expounded on it further.

Contains 1/2 of required information.

Contains 3/4 of required information.

Contains all required information.
