Quote Response Infographic

Students are to chose 5 significant quotes for one of the following characters: Jem, Scout, Dill, or Attius. TThese quotes must be significant in terms character development. Responses should reflect understanding of that character by providing the quote and explanation of the quote relates to character development.

Quote Selection	Exemplary There are 5 selected quotes that are significant in terms of character development. Selection of quotes indicate superior comprehension of the intent behind quote choices and understanding of the character.	Proficient There 5 quotes selected. The majority of chosen quotes are important in terms character development. Selection of quotes indicate a basic understanding of the importance of selecting quotes as well as a basic understanding of the character.	Emerging There are less than 5 quotes. Another problem or in addition to the minimum requirement of quotes is that there are some quotes that are not important in terms of character development.	Needs Improvement There are several areas of concern: either many of the quotes have little connection to character development, or the quote selection falls short of the minimum requirements.
Quote Responses	Exemplary All responses to the quotes indicate a superior understanding of the character . Analysis of quote shows an in depth understanding of the quote's overall importance to the characters development.	Proficient Majority of the responses to the quotes indicate a basic understanding of the character. Background knowledge of the character is provided as well as an analysis of quote's overall importance to the characters development.	Emerging Several responses indicate a fair understanding of the character. Responses mostly re-state quote or summarize character development. Responses re-states the quote or summarizes the character development, but in a confusing and unclear manner.
Neatness/Effort	Exemplary Quotes and analysis are professionally created in an infographic in Canva. They are easy to read. The inforgraphic is creative and visually appeasing.	Proficient Quotes and analysis are professionally created in an infographic in Canva. They are easy to read. The infographic is visually appeasing, but is lacking some creative aspects.	Emerging Quotes and analysis are placed in an infographic in Canva. They quotes are easy to read. The infographic is plain and does not contain creative aspects.	Needs Improvement The infographic is sloppy and hard to read and confusing. The assignment indicates little effort and time.
