Actor uses precise articulation and projects clearly throughout the scene. They are always heard and understood. Dialogue is fluent and is clearly practiced and doesn’t sound like it is just read.

Actor uses some articulation and projects throughout the scene. They are heard and understood for most of the scene with only minor lapses in clarity. Dialogue is fluent and is clearly practiced and doesn’t sound like it is just read.
Fair

Actor struggles at times to articulate and/or project throughout the scene. It is difficult to hear and understand them at points throughout the scene. Clarity is uneven. Dialogue is not always fluent and needs more practice.
Poor

Actor is difficult to comprehend because little to no attempt at articulation and/or projection is evident. Actor cannot be heard. Dialogue sounds more like reading than conversation. More practice in fluency is needed.

Actor struggles to utilize rehearsal time effectively. Actor may not always work well with partner and is easily distracted. More time could be spent on the task.

Actor did not rehearse thoroughly and was unfocused and uncooperative throughout the rehearsal time allotted.
