This is the rubric I will use to grade student's Prezi presentations over the video and online research about Day of the Dead.

	Poor 12 pts	Average 16 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Creativity	Poor The Prezi included only 3-4 slides and had only few pictures. The Prezi has little to no creativity. Student only copy and pasted information.	Average The Prezi included 4-5 slides and have pictures. The presentation has some creativity to it. Student has some self-made sentences explaining the celebration.	Excellent The Prezi presentation has 6 slides. Each aspect of the celebration is illustrated with pictures, and it is very creative. Student used his own words to explain about the celebration.
Time of Presentation	Poor Student presented for 1-2 minutes. Presentation include only one or two aspects of the celebration.	Average Student presented 3-4 minutes.Presentation include some aspects of the celebration.	Excellent Student presented between 5 and 10 minutes. Presentation included all aspects of the celebration.
Use of In-Class Time	Poor Student used very little in- class time to make the Prezi and paid very little attention to the video.	Average Student used most of class time to work on Prezi and paid attention to most of the movie.	Excellent Student used close to all of class time to to make the Prezi and paid attention to almost all of the movie.
Detailed Information	Poor Student gave very little detailed information on the Prezi.	Average Student gave some detailed information, but could of used more.	Excellent Student gave a lot of detailed information to make the Prezi presentation.
Overall Quality of Prezi and Pres.	Poor Student did not do a very good job on the Prezi or presentation.	Average Student did a decent job with the Prezi and presentation.	Excellent Student did a great job with the Prezi and presentation.
