Ready to Work	Poor Student has a difficult time remaining seated appropriately at his/her desk with working posture. (head up, facing task, chair legs on floor, materials ready) with 5 or more prompts.	Fair Student can remain in his/her area seated appropriately at a desk with working posture (head up, facing task, chair legs on floor, materials ready) with 3 or 4 prompts.	Good Student can independently remain in his/her area seated appropriately at his/her desk with working posture (head up, facing task, chair legs on floor, materials ready) with 2 or less prompts.
Working to Completion	Poor Student has a difficult time beginning and working on tasks independently. Student needs 5 or more adult prompts and visuals to begin tasks.	Fair Student can begin tasks independently and work for a certain length of time or portion of an assigned task with visuals and 3 or 4 adult redirects.	Good Student can begin and work to completion on tasks independent with 2 or less adult prompts with visual support.
Attending to Instruction	Poor Student has a difficult time refraining from being distracted by others or self during and continuously needs redirection to do so.	Fair Student can refrain from being distracted by others or himself and redirect when prompted 3 or 4 times by an adult during an instructional period.	Good Student can independently attend to instruction and participate by using eye contact, hand raising, and sharing on topic with 2 or less prompts.
