Preparation	Excellent Student(s) were prepared and had obviously rehearsed. No mispronounced words.	Good Student(s) might have prepared but needed more rehearsal. 1-2 words were mispronounced.	Fair The student(s) seemed somewhat prepared, but rehearsal was lacking. 3-4 words were mispronounced.	Poor Student(s) did not seem at all prepared. 5 or more words were mispronounced.
Presentation	Excellent Student(s) demonstrated good posture, eye contact, correct grammar, and excellent volume. Student(s) focused on the presentation and were not distracted.	Good Student(s) presented fairly well, but presentation could be improved. Student(s) focused on the presentation and were not distracted.	Fair Presentation needed improvement. Student(s) were somewhat unfocused and distracted.	Poor Presentation was poorly done. Student(s) seemed unconcerned with presentation, were unfocused, and were easily distracted

Length	Excellent Student(s) met all time requirements. Pacing was excellent, and presentation was completed in the allotted time-frame.	Good Presentation was completed near the expected time-frame. Design and Effort	Excellent Student(s) devoted a lot of time and effort to the project. Student(s) planned carefully, chose an appropriate color scheme, and used space effectively. Student(s) did some planning, chose an appropriate color scheme, and used space adequately.	Fair Student(s) devoted a minimal amount of time and effort to the project. Student(s) did not appear to have done much planning. Color scheme and/or use of space could have been improved.	Poor Student(s) did not make a satisfactory effort to complete the project. The project seems incomplete or quickly done.
Craftmanship and Mechanics	Excellent Project was completed with care, was attractive and accurate. Student(s) put forth a maximum effort. Capitalization, punctuation, grammar and spelling are correct.	Good Project was completed with care. It was accurate and relevant to the topic. Student(s) put forth a reasonable effort. There were 1-2 mechanical errors.	Fair Project was completed with some effort and was related to the topic. Most facts were accurate. More effort would have improved the project. Creativity	Excellent The entire project was original work done by the student(s) and reflected an exceptional degree of originality and creativity.
