Content	Excellent Almost all of the content requirements were met.	Good Most (about 75%) of the content requirements were met.	Fair Half (about 50%) of the content requirements were met.	Poor Many content requirements were not met.
Vocabulary	Excellent Utilizes a wide variety of vocabulary from current and previous units. Takes risks and tries to expand length of sentences.	Good Utilizes a variety of vocabulary, but mostly from the current chapter and sentences are rather short.	Fair Utilizes limited or minimal vocabulary expressions and sentences are short.	Poor Utilizes limited vocabulary, some of which is inaccurate or irrelevant to the task.
Speaking Clarity & Fluency	Excellent Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with excellent pronunciation.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with few pronunciation errors.	Fair Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time with acceptable pronunciation.	Poor Often mumbles and cannot be understood OR has multiple pronunciation errors.
Preparedness	Excellent Student is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed.	Good Student seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals.	Fair The student is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Poor Student does not seem at all prepared to present.
