Parts Students should draw and label all basic parts of the circulatory system that were discussed in class (i.e. heart, lungs, veins, arteries, blood).	Poor Parts were missing or not labeled.	Fair Parts were drawn but labeled incorrectly or a part was missing.	Good All parts were drawn and labeled correctly.
Function Students should label each part with its basic function (i.e. heart pumps blood, arteries carry blood away from heart).	Poor Functions were labeled incorrectly or were left blank.	Fair The function of most parts were labeled correctly but some were incorrect or blank.	Good The function of all parts were labeled correctly.
Blood Flow Students should use directional arrows to indicate the direction of blood flow as discussed in class (i.e. away from heart or toward heart).	Poor Directional arrows were missing or were incorrect.	Fair Directional arrows were present but some were incorrect.	Good Directional arrows were present and correct.
Neatness Work should be neat and legible. Work should show that student took pride in carefully creating his or her model.	Poor Labels were illegible or parts could not be determined.	Fair Work could be read but was not up to 5th grade standards.	Good Work was neat and legible.
