Basketball Passing Rubic
Evaluation on fundamentals using the various passing options in basketball. Students are Rated and scored on the mechanics of their passing and defense skills. Twelve points would be the high score. Any points over 12 would earn extra credit.

Body position low and ready to move.
Attempts to block pass.

Lacks the fundamental follow through.
Student does not get between ball and target.
No attempt to block pass.
Proficient

Student is in proper defensive form.

Student gets between ball and target 50% of the time.
Advanced

All the fundaments discussed and demonstrated occur without effort.
Student gets between ball and target 80% of the time.
Student successfully prevents scoring or steals ball at least once.
