Research/Content	Poor little evidence of research, did not include several areas of content.	Fair Some evidence of research, missing some content.	Good Full evidence of research, included all content.	Excellent Full evidence of research, included all content, went beyond textbook to cover material.
Creativity	Poor Little evidence of creativity, time or effort displayed in project. Script is unexciting, no costumes or props.	Fair Minimal use of color, imagination, or thought in developing the project. Script holds attention of audience, little use of costumes or props.	Good Visual display uses color, pictures and imagination. Script demonstrates interesting dialogue, good use of costumes and props.	Excellent Highly original ideas, excellent use of design, color, artistic planning. Well developed characters in script, innovative props and costumes to enhance the information.
Time/Place of Culture	Poor Does not include the time and place of the culture or topic of research.	Fair Includes the time of the culture, but no maps or location.	Good Identifies the time and place of the culture or civilization.	Excellent Unusual, original presentation of the time and place of the culture of civilization.
Historical Significance	Poor Does not include anything about the historical significance of the topic or civilization or else the information is not accurate.	Fair Little evidence of original thinking about the historical significance of the topic.	Good Demonstrates thoughtful ideas about the historical significance of the topic.	Excellent Well-thought out and research supported evidence of the historical significance of the topic.
Presentation	Poor Not rehearsed, does not flow, no eye contact, difficult to hear.	Fair Little evidence of rehersal, distractions during presentation/lack of flow, minimal eye contact, difficult to hear.	Good Prentation has been rehearsed, good eye contact with audience, able to hear clearly.	Excellent Confident, rehearsed presentation with no interruptions or hesitations, solid voices, great eye contact.
