Pitch Accuracy	Level I Most of the notes are incorrect - student seems unfamiliar with the scale.	Level II There are multiple mistakes in pitch. Intonation has not developed appropriately.	Level III Mostly correct pitches and chromatic fingerings with a few errors. There may be small intonation problems.	Level IV Pitches and chromatic fingerings are correct and intonation has a characteristic quality sound in all registers.	COMMENTS
Rhythm and Tempo Accuracy	Level I Pulse is unstable with major rhythmic errors. Unclear what tempo is being performed	Level II Pulse is fairly steady but there are frequent or repeated small rhythmic errors. Played much slower than given tempo	Level III Steady pulse with few rhythmic errors. Possibly slightly under tempo.	Level IV Steady pulse with accurate rhythms at all times.
