	Advanced - Exceeds Standards 4 pts	Proficient - Meets Standards 3 pts	Basic - Approaches Standards 2 pts	Below Basic - Below Standards 1 pts
Pitch Accuracy	Advanced - Exceeds Standards Confidently sings all pitches correctly.	Proficient - Meets Standards Sings most of the pitches correctly with few errors and tracks well in musical score.	Basic - Approaches Standards Many of the pitches are sung incorrectly, but student tracks well in musical score.	Below Basic - Below Standards Most pitches are sung incorrectly and student is not able to track within musical score.
Rhythmic Accuracy	Advanced - Exceeds Standards Confidently performs all rhythms correctly.	Proficient - Meets Standards Most of the rhythms are performed correctly, with few errors.	Basic - Approaches Standards Some basic rhythms are performed correctly; however, has challenges with some rhythms in specific measures.	Below Basic - Below Standards Most of the rhythms in musical score are performed incorrectly.
Style/Interpretation	Advanced - Exceeds Standards The performance of the piece is beautifully executed with both appropriate style and interpretation.	Proficient - Meets Standards Most of the piece is performed using correct style and interpretation.	Basic - Approaches Standards Some parts of the piece are performed using both style and interpretation.	Below Basic - Below Standards The style and interpretation of the piece is not executed during performance.
Musicianship	Advanced - Exceeds Standards Student performs the piece with appropriate dynamics, phrasings, and articulation.	Proficient - Meets Standards Most of the dynamics are followed, and most of the articulation signs are observed. Most phrases are performed correctly.	Basic - Approaches Standards Some dynamics are observed. Some articulation is performed. Some phrases are complete and musically accurate.	Below Basic - Below Standards No dynamics. No use of articulation. Most phrases are performed incorrectly.
