Character Group Project

Groups will create a poster that includes an illustration of a main character, character traits, and evidence from the text which illustrates those character traits.

Illustration	Advanced Illustration is colorful and reflects the description given in the book.	Proficient Illustration mostly reflects the book's description of the character. It is colorful.	Partially Proficient Illustration somewhat reflects the book's description of the character. It may or may not be in color.	Unsatisfactory Illustration does not reflect the book's description.
Character traits	Advanced 4+ relevant traits are listed.	Proficient 4 relevant traits are listed.	Partially Proficient 3 relevant traits are listed.	Unsatisfactory Less than three traits are listed or traits are irrelevant.
Evidence	Advanced All traits are backed up by complete and accurate evidence from the text. Two or more examples are provided for each trait.	Proficient All traits are backed up by accurate evidence from the text. Two examples are provided for each trait.	Partially Proficient Most traits are backed up by accurate evidence from the text. One or two examples are provided.	Unsatisfactory Traits are only partially backed up with evidence from the text.
Neatness	Advanced Poster is neat and shows creativity.	Proficient Poster is mostly neat.	Partially Proficient Poster is somewhat neat.	Unsatisfactory Poster is messy.
