Locate pulse	Poor Student was unable to locate pulse within 10 seconds and had to be assisted.	Fair Student was able to locate pulse independently but not within 10 seconds.	Good Student was able to locate pulse independently within 10 seconds.	Excellent Student was able to locate pulse independently within 5 seconds.
Heart Rate	Poor Student was not able to count or record an accurate number for the heart rate.	Fair Student had difficulty counting the heart rate but was close to accurate when recording.	Good Student was able to accurately record heart rate but had difficulty converting heart rate to beats per minute.	Excellent Student was able to accurately record their heart rate.
