Spanish 3 honors - Group Presentation: Grammar lesson

This rubric is designed for a Spanish group grammar lesson presentation assessment in which the students will be presenting an assigned grammar concept. Students will create a presentation demonstrating their understanding of the grammar concept and grammar usage in addition to any previous knowledge they have. Students are being graded both individually and as a group. A 10 item assessment is to be created and will serve as a quiz grade for classmates

1. Grammar Concept 2 pts	Poor Student struggled with explaining, practicing, and reviewing concept	Fair Students introduced the grammar concept, but had little explanation, practice or reviewed.	Good Students somewhat introduced, explained, practiced and reviewed the grammar concept.	Excellent Students thoroughly introduced, explained, practiced and reviewed the grammar concept.
2. Use of the target language 2 pts	Poor Students used 0 vocabulary words throughout the presentation.	Fair Students used 1-2 vocabulary words throughout the presentation.	Good Students used at least 3-4 vocabulary words throughout the presentation.	Excellent Students used at least 5-10 words in Spanish throughout the presentation.
3. Grammar 2 pts	Poor Student showed little comprehension of correct grammar use. Communication hindered.	Fair Student had multiple grammar errors, but still communicated.	Good Student had 3-4 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with some effort for correction.	Excellent Students had less than 2 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with great effort for correction.
4. Visuals 2 pts	Poor Students used 0 visuals in their presentation and/or visuals did not contribute to the understanding of the grammar concept.	Fair Students used 1 visuals and most contributed to the understanding of the grammar concept presented.	Good Students used 2 visuals and most contributed to the understanding of the performance.	Excellent Students used 3 or more visuals and all contributed to the understanding of the concept making the presentation a valuable learning tool.
5. Creativity 2 pts	Poor very little creativity in their presentation assessment was late.	Fair presentation was a little creative, room for improvement. assessment was late	Good presentation was creative and unique, however had room for improvement. assessment was on time	Excellent The students' work was very creative and unique!
