Paper Mache Masks 
Masks were created from newspaper and paper mache using a face mold. Students then designed the masks to add character and personality using inspiration from masks around the world.

The student did nothing creative to make their mask. The project was also too easy for the student to complete based on their ability level.

The idea is somewhat original, but the idea for the mask is somewhat popular in our culture. Idea met the appropriate challenge level for the student, but could have aimed to challenge themselves more.
Wow Factor

The idea for the mask is very original; idea is brand new and has never been seen before. Idea met and/or exceeded the appropriate challenge level for the student's ability level.
