Students will be bale to build a complete page for the yearbook including headline, sub-headline, copy, captions, photos, etc.

template	Accomplished 4 Student was able to select an appropriate, approved template that compliments the page's theme. All aspects of the design layout flow with the previous page and has connectors	Skilled 3 Student was able to select an appropriate template for the page's theme. Most of the aspect of the layout design reflect the previous page and forms a cohesive look	Emerging 2 Student was able to select an appropriate template for the page, but may have require some tweaking to make it flow with the previous page. Headline/sub-headlines	Accomplished 4 Student was able to create a catchy appropriate headline for the theme of the page. The headline is in the correct font choice, color and size. Additionally the sub-headline is in the correct location and font. The sizing and placement compliment the Headline	Skilled 3 Student was able to use a catchy appropriate headline for the theme of the page. The headline is the correct font choice and color for the piece. The sub-headline is in the correct font, color is complimentary to the headline and the location is acceptable.	Emerging 2 Student was able to use a catchy headline with help from their peers. The headline is in the correct font, size and color palette. The sub-headline is in the correct font, but may have needed some help to be in an appropriate location/color/size	Limited 1 Student was able to use a headline but had issues with making it an attention grabber. Copy	Accomplished 4 Student was able to create copy that enhances the page and draws interest to the reader. The piece is appropriate in length and gives lasting details. Correct grammar and spelling are used	Skilled 3 Student was able to create copy that brings in the reader. The length is good for the section and many details add to the interest. The overall piece is interesting but could be polished a bit: spelling and or grammar are a slight issue	Emerging 2 Student was able to write copy for the page but needed assistance with fine tuning the piece. Photos,Captions and ID's	Accomplished 4 Student was able to enhance the feel of the page through the use of superb photographs. The editing used created advanced methods and attracted the viewer. The photos are all captioned and everyone is ID'ed.	Skilled 3 Student was able to create a feeling for the page that draws in the viewer with the use of editing and great photos. All people are identified and captions are used	Emerging 2 Student was able to give the page an overall feeling to the piece. There may be some issue with editing that needed correction, as well as, missing caption/id's	Limited 1 Student was able to put images onto the page but a cohesive view was not readily seen. Much editing and correction were needed for finished piece. Student required the help of others to complete the work of id's, caption, etc.
Craftsmanship	Accomplished 4 Student was able to create a page that captures the viewer and draws them into the page. All area have the required parameters for fonts and colors, as well as being error free. The finished page stands out	Skilled 3 Student was able to create a finished page that hold interest to the viewer. There are areas of greatness throughout and with some work can be elevated. Few errors were found	Emerging 2 Student was able to create a finished page that met the overall theme. Some enhancement and tweaking were needed: corrections, fonts not stated sizes/colors. Correction from Editors was needed	Limited 1 Student was able to create a page but had difficulty finishing it on their own. Many stepped in to help with enhancements/corrections, etc.
