Color Wheel Project Rubric

After a review of the color wheel by the teacher, the student will create a creative color wheel incorporating all of the colors of the color wheel on in the proper order. The student will correctly mix and apply the correct colors on the color wheel in the correct position.

Students painting technique was carefully applied with minimal inconsistencies.	Nearly Proficient (3 pts) Colors have been placed on the color wheel, but may not all follow placement directions. Colored pencil application could be neater. Craftsmanship required more effort. Painting had inconsistencies throughout the entire project.	Emerging (2 pts.) Colors do not appear on the color wheel correctly. Craftsmanship needs much improvement. Project was colored carelessly. Paint was not applied carefully.
