Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.

Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.

Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent

Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Elocution/Eye Contact

Poor

Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.Student reads all of report with no eye contact.
Fair

Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.
Good

Student's voice is clear, pronounces most words correctly. Most audience can hear presentation. Student maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.
Excellent

Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so all audience members can hear presentation. Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes.
Planets are clearly labeled

Poor

No labels are present, very difficult to find, or difficult to read.
Fair

Labels are present, but they may have been difficult to find or handwriting could have been improved
Good

Labels are clearly present and are easy to read.
Excellent
Creativity

Poor

Very little or no creativity. Minimal color is used.
Fair

Some thought has been put into the project. There is some color and the planets are close to their correct color.
Good

There is large amounts of creativity being shown. Imagination has been used when designing model.
Excellent
