Attendance	Excellent Student has not missed more than one day, excused or unexcused, and has arrived promptly everyday.	Nice Job Student has not missed more than two days, excused or unexcused, and may have arrived promptly with the exception of no more than two days.	OK Student has missed up to three days, excused or unexcused, and may have arrived late more than twice.	Needs Improvement Student has missed three days without excuses and may have arrived late more than three times.
Class Discussion	Excellent Student has contributed to all class discussions without being called upon.	Nice Job Student occassionally contributes to class discussions and always responds when called upon.	OK Student hardly ever contributes to class discussion and sometimes declines the opportunity to share when called upon.	Needs Improvement Student does not contribute to class discussion and declines to share when called upon.
Group Participation	Excellent Student does not hesitate to find groups and contribute, in a positive way, to the assignments or discussions	Nice Job Student finds a group, which is often made up of the same people, to participate with.	OK Student has to be ecouraged to find a group or stay on task while in the group.	Needs Improvement Student shows no interest in participating with groups and is uncooperative or simply refuses to contribute.
