Assessing students’ pronunciation performance
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts	Exellent 10 pts
Accurancy	Poor Frequent pronunciation mistakes, with more than 10 mispronounced words. Utterance is hard to understand.	Fair Occasional pronunciation errors, with 4-6 mispronounced words,but meaning is still understandable.	Good Minor mistakes,from1-3, but meaning is still clear and understandable.	Exellent Clear and correct pronunciation with no significant mistakes,with 0-2 mispronounced words.
Fluency	Poor Speech is very hesitant and fragmented, utterance is unclear. Poor intonation and stress.	Fair Speech has some hesitations but is understandable.Frequent pauses occurs. Satisfactory intonation but the flow is still disruptive. .	Good Speech is almost smooth with less hesitations.Occasional hesitations occurs.Proper intonation,stress and flow is maintained.	Exellent Speech flows naturally with no noticeable hesitations or pauses.
Grammar	Poor Frequent grammatical mistakes. Clarity and meaning in communication are disruptive.	Fair Some grammatical mistaes appears in communication, occasionally affect clarity but do not disrupt the meaning.	Good Minor grammatical errors occurs but they do not interfere with communication.	Exellent Grammatical structures are appropriate and accurate. Communication is clear and gramatically correctly.
Vocabulary	Poor Vocabulary is very limited, and inappropriate words are frequently used in communication.	Fair Basic vocabulary is used accurately, but some mistakes appear in words	Good Good range of vocabulary with minor mistakes. A few mistakes appear in communication.	Exellent A wide range of vocabulary is used accurately and appropriately.
Coherence	Poor Ideas are disconnected or unclear.The speech is disorganized and lacks coherence,making it difficult to follow.	Fair Ideas are clearer, but occasionally disconnected. The speech is fairly easy to follow.	Good Ideas are mostly clear and connected with a clear structure.	Exellent Ideas are logically connected. Speech is logically organized, clear, and easy to follow.
