Creative use of lights and decorations	Poor Very little or no creativity is evident.	Fair Some creativity is evident. Display may or may not include self-made creative aspects.	Good Creativity is evident. Ample time was spent on this display and some aspects of creativity are self-designed.	Excellent Abundant creativity is evident. It is clear that a lot of time was spent on the artistic aspects of this display. Display includes self-made creative aspects.
Storyline/Theme	Poor No theme exists in this display.	Fair A theme exists, but is not consistent throughout the display. The display does not blend well together.	Good A theme exists, but it is not consistent throughout the display. However, the display still blends well together.	Excellent A clear theme exists in this display. The theme is consistent throughout the entire display. Examples could be: Disney, The Grinch, penguins, etc.
Display/Placement	Poor The decorations are not spaced well and do not make sense with an overall theme and/or space was not utilized well.	Fair The decorations are spaced well but do not make sense with the overall theme. May or may not have utilized space. Overall Presentation	Poor This display shows very little or no effort. The Grinch lives here.	Fair Even though this display shows effort, there is room for improvement. Maybe Santa's helpers can help with this display next year!	Good This display deserves a prize. Although it is not quite postcard worthy, there was definitely a lot of effort put into this display and you feel like you need a cup of hot chocolate while viewing.	Excellent This display deserves a prize! It wouldn't surprise you if a picture of this display were found on a postcard or made into a jigsaw puzzle. It is nearly perfect in every way and leaves you with a warm holiday vibe.
