	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Follows Rules for Discussion	Excellent Student consistently uses eye contact, uses appropriate volume, sticks to the topic and takes turns in line with the rules.	Good Student makes some eye contact, uses appropriate volume most of the time, strays off topic one time, interrupts occasionally in line with the rules.	Fair Student does not make frequent eye contact, student is too loud or too soft, student strays off topic more than one time, interrupts frequently in line with the rules.	Poor Student does not make any eye contact, does not speak or is inaudible, does not discuss the topic, does not take turns in line with the rules.
Speaking	Excellent Student consistently answers only when called on, and the student consistently stays on topic.	Good Student speaks mostly when called on , and stays on topic most of the time.	Fair Student strays off topic frequently,and speaks out of turn often.	Poor Students continuously speaks out of turn, and does not stay on topic.
Listening	Excellent Student consistently sit quietly and listen when the teacher is naming the flash cards and giving directions.	Good Students mostly sit quietly and listen when the teacher is naming the flash cards and giving directions.	Fair Students sit quietly and listen half of the time the teacher is naming the flash cards and giving directions.	Poor Student does not sit quietly and listen when the teacher is naming the flash cards and giving directions.
