Set Elements

Exterior of house.
Interior room: placement of table, chairs, window,
3 doorways. Perambulator. Color of room and style of decorations.

Good

A well thought out set design. All required elements are present, and it is clear why these elements were chosen to support the script. Detail and explanations are given for the choices.
Fair

Some thought has gone into the design, but some of the required elements are missing, or it is unclear why those elements were chosen. There is not much detail in the choices or in the explanation for the choices.
Poor

There are many missing elements and/or there doesn't seem to be much thought put into the choices for the set design.
Costume Elements

Visuals for all family characters, one nurse. An example of the wigs.
Costumes reflect the time period of the character when they enter the scene.

Good

A well thought out costume design. All required elements are present, and it is clear why these elements were chosen to support the script. The costumes indicate the time period and character.
Fair

Costumes for some characters missing. Costumes seem generic, or it is unclear why the choice was made. Costumes don't support the script or help define the time period.
Poor

Less than half of the costumes are presented. There seems to be no reason for the choices of costumes, or the choices don't make reasonable sense.
Collaboration Skills

How you work together as a team and prep your presentation.

Good

The presenters seem comfortable with their level of preparation. It seems as if they have planned and rehearsed the presentation together, and are confident in their partner's contribution. There is an obvious team spirit.
Fair

The presenters seem okay with their level of preparation. It seems as if they have done some work preparing, but have not spent enough time in practice together to feel confident in their partner's contribution.
Poor

The presenters seem unsure of their presentation and what they are doing and what their partner is contributing. They are easily "thrown" by what their partner is saying, or they contradict each other. They obviously have not rehearsed enough.
Presenter #1

Good

Presenter made eye contact.
Presenter spoke confidently and clearly.
Presenter obviously knew about the material and why the choices were made.
Presenter gave details that helped to explain the visual examples.
Fair

Presenter was fairly confident and could be heard and understood.
Presenter seemed to know basically what they were talking about , but didn't give much information to explain the choices that were made. Their partner had to step in for them.
Poor

Presenter didn't make eye contact, or speak with confidence. Presenter seemed unsure about the presentation, as if they hadn't chosen the visuals or participated in the design process. They relied on their partner to do most of the talking.
