Preparation	Mastery Student is well prepared and it is obvious that songs/lines were rehearsed throroughly	3 Student is well prepared but the presentation of the song/linesrequires a few more rehearsals.	2 Student is not well prepared and would benefit from many more rehearsals.	1 Student is obviously unprepared for the task. No evidence of any rehearsals.
Memorization	Mastery The student has memorized the entire song/scene and is able to present it without error.	3 The student has memorized entire song/scene and is able to present with just one error from which h/she recovers.	2 The student has memorized entire song/scene and is able to present, however makes three+ errors and doesn't recover.	1 The student has not memorized the song.
Physical Presence	Mastery Student employs proper posture and gestures, is relaxed and confident, and maintains appropriate audience contact.	3 Student employs proper posture and gestures, is relaxed and confident, and maintains appropriate audience contact most of the time or is lacking in one of these elements.	2 Presentation is lacking in two or more of the criteria.	1 The student slouches, looks uncomfortable and makes no effective contact with the audience at all.
