Rubric for evaluating student presentations. Can be applied to any presentation. Adopted from http://www.ncsu.edu/midlink/rub.pres.html

Presentation Rubric
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Organization	Excellent Students present information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.	Good Students present information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because students jump around.	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.
Presentation Length	Excellent Presentation is between 6-8 minutes (not including audience questions).	Good Presentation is within 1 minute over or under the 6-8 minute range.	Fair Presentation is within 2 minutes over or under the 6-8 minute range.	Poor Presentation is 3 or more minutes over or under the 6-8 minute range.
Subject Knowledge	Excellent Students demonstrate full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.	Good Students are at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.	Fair Students are uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.	Poor Students do not have grasp of information; students cannot answer questions about subject.
Graphics	Excellent Students' graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation.	Good Students' graphics relate to text and presentation.	Fair Students occasionally use graphics that rarely support text and presentation.	Poor Students use unrelated graphics or no graphics
Eye Contact	Excellent Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes.	Good Student maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.	Fair Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.	Poor Student reads all of report with no eye contact.
Speaking	Excellent Students use clear voices and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.	Good Students' voices are clear. Students pronounce most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.	Fair Students' voices are low. Students incorrectly pronounce terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.	Poor Students mumble, incorrectly pronounce terms, and speak too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair Share	Excellent ALL group members speak for a similar amount of time.	Good ALL group members speak but some carry more weight than others.	Fair ALL group members speak, but one or more only speak when prompted by the instructor.	Poor One group member does no speaking at all.
Professional Appearance (BONUS)	Excellent Students wear either: (a) a shirt with a collar & nice clean pants or (b) a school-appropriate dress/skirt.	Good	Fair	Poor
