It showed a visual sensitivity to the elements included in the design.	Excellent Student's design composition is completed with both sesitivity to the elements and an excellent, unique sense of design.
Additional Block Design	Poor The additional block is not designed in a way to become a working element of the composite design. The block is poorly executed, unresolved or incomplete.	Good Student's design of the block is good. It works as both an independent design and a working element of the composite and meets the criterion.	Excellent Student's design solution for the block is excellent. It shows an excellent use of elements, both independently and integrated. Student's interpretation of criterion is unique and highly creative.
Conceptual Elements	Poor Student did not clearly demonstrate a grasp of the conceptual aspect of the assignment. The work is lacking in feeling or imagery.	Good Student's work clearly conveys the conceptual elements intended. The work is consistent in visually communicating a sense of expression.	Excellent Student's work is excellent in it's sense of expression throughout all parts of the design. The blocks, individually and as a composite design, convey the expressive intent.
