Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.
Fair

Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.
Good

Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.
Excellent

Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.
Subject Knowledge

Poor

Student does not identify characters, setting, or events in the story.
Fair

Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to identify only one of the characters, settings, or events.
Good

Student is at ease and showcases a few of the characters, setting, and/or events.
Excellent

Student demonstrates full knowledge of the characters from the story and showcases all settings in the story and events are in sequential order.
Eye Contact

Poor

Student makes no eye contact and needs lots of prompting. Student speaks quietly and is hard to hear.
Fair

Student occasionally uses eye contact and needs a few prompts. Student's voice is low.
Good

Student maintains eye contact most of the time and needs little prompts.
Student's voice is clear and most can hear.
Excellent

Student maintains eye contact with audience and presentation is fluent.
Student uses a clear voice and everyone can hear.
