Good Summary includes all aspects of the story, but at least one sentence is not well formed. It is clear the student read the book.	Poor Includes a description of some of the things that happened in the story. It appears the student read most of the book, but might not understand it.	Must do Over Summary is too vague. Does not appear the student read or understood the book.
Description Character Setting or Problem	Excellent Descriptions are well written and creative. Paragraphs are well formed.	Good Descriptions are clear and written in complete sentences	Poor Descriptions are poorly written.	Must do Over There are no descriptions.
