Level 2 The student did the artworks adequately, yet it shows lack of planning and little evidence that an overall composition was planned.	Level 3 The artwork shows that the student applied the principles of design while using one or more elements effectively	Level 4 Planned carefully, made several sketches, and showed an awareness of the elements and principles of design.
Creativity/Originality 4 pts	Level 1 The student attempted to complete the artworks, but made little effort with regards to design or originality.	Level 2 The student tried an idea, and accepted help to solve problems adequately showed little effort with regard to originality.	Level 3 The student tried a few ideas for selecting one; or based his or her work on someone else's idea; solved the problem in logical way.
