	Excellent 25 pts	Good 20 pts	Fair 15 pts	Poor 10 pts
Concept	Excellent Painting has been made in a manner very consistent with the technique of the artist being studied.	Good Painting has been made in a style that is reasonably consistent with the technique of artist being studied.	Fair An attempt has been made to paint in the style of the artist being studied.	Poor No attempt has been made to paint in the style of the artist being studied.
Creativity	Excellent Student added their own unique take on the images being studied.	Good Student recreated the image in the style of the artist.	Fair Student recreated the image chosen.	Poor Student attempted to recreate the image chosen.
Craftsmanship	Excellent Work is neat, complete and well done.	Good Painting skills and techniques were accomplished.	Fair Painting is moderately well done but needs improvement.	Poor Painting is sloppy and unfinished.
Classwork	Excellent Student was highly enthusiastic and demonstrated a great deal of effort.	Good Student spent a considerable time on his/her painting and demonstrated enthusiasm and effort.	Fair Student spent a satisfactory time on his/her painting and demonstrated a satisfactory amount of effort.	Poor Student spent limited time on his/her painting and demonstrated a limited amount of effort.
