Tone	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Pitches are well centered and in tune. A desirable tone quality that is appropriate to the music being performed is produced throughout the performance.	Good Pitches are in tune and centered. A desirable tone quality is produced for most of the song.	Fair/ Needs Work Some notes are out of tune. Pitches are occasionally not centered properly. Tone quality is kind of harsh.	Poor/Not Acceptable Many notes are out of tune and not centered. Tone quality is poor.
Musicianship	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Dynamics written in the score are observed. Phrasing that communicates intention of the song is performed. VERY GOOD MUSICIANSHIP!	Good Most dynamics in the score are observed. Phrasing suggests understanding of the piece, but could use work. Most articulations are correct and in appropriate style.	Fair/ Needs Work Some dynamics are observed. Some articulations are incorrect.	Poor/Not Acceptable Few dynamic changes are observed. Phrasing is absent or very poorly thought out. Many articulations are incorrect.
Notes/ Song	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Correct notes are sung throughout the song!!! Good job with the notes!	Good MOST notes are sung correctly, and proficiency is shown across range of the melody in the song.	Fair/ Needs Work SOME notes are missed and additional technical vocal work is necessary to be proficient on registers demonstrated.	Poor/Not Acceptable MANY notes are missed and the student lacks technical vocal proficiency appropriate to the song being performed.
Stage Presence	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Student communicates the music effectively, keeps good posture, and performs "in the moment". Students performs with professionalism.	Good Student has minor issues with posture. Student needs a slight improvement in professionalism (reacting to mistakes, giggling in performance, etc.)	Fair/ Needs Work Student needs large improvement in posture. Student shows major lapses in judgment in professionalism.	Poor/Not Acceptable Posture and attitude is unacceptable.
Enthusiasm	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Performance is energized and exciting! This performance shows great potential.	Good Performance is energized and exciting. This performance shows potential.	Fair/ Needs Work Performance is sometimes energized and exciting. Needs lots of room for improvement.	Poor/Not Acceptable Performance lacks any enthusiasm and excitement.
Overall Performance	Excellent- Definitely a GO! Performance is OFF THE HOOK! This act is memorized and convincing.	Good Performance is good, mostly memorized, and convincing.	Fair/ Needs Work Some aspects of this performance are good. The act is somewhat memorized, but there are many gaps in the performance.	Poor/Not Acceptable Performance is unacceptable and not memorized.
Dance	Excellent- Definitely a GO! The dancer is focused, concentrated&committed in performance. Student is able to perform all of the movements in the combination and has a good sense of rhythm/timing.	Good The dancer is often focused, concentrated and committed in performance. Student is able to perform most of the movements and has a decent sense of rhythm/timing.	Fair/ Needs Work The dancer is seldom focused, concentrated and committed to the performance. Student is able to perform some of the movements and has an ok sense of rhythm/timing.	Poor/Not Acceptable The dancer is not focused, concentrated and committed to the performance. Student is unable to perform most of the movements and has limited sense of rhythm/timing.
