Requirements	Excellent The poster is either on colored or is created using a variety of color.	Good	Fair	Poor The poster Is monochromatic. The poster is done in a rush using just pencil.
Word	Excellent The word is the focus of the poster. It is written neatly and spelled correctly.	Good The word is the focus of the poster. It may not be as neat as it could be, but is spelled correctly.	Fair The word is visible on the poster, but may not be the focus. It is written neatly, but may be misspelled.	Poor The word is a there, but might be hard to find. The word is gravely misspelled or completely missing.
Definition	Excellent	Good A student created definition is visible. Grammatically it is correct. The definition is very clear, explains the word well.	Fair The student attempted to create a definition, may have used a dictionary as support. Minor grammar errors. The definition is unclear.	Poor A dictionary definition is used - no student learning is seen.
Textual Support	Excellent The students used support from the text to defend their definition. Text is quoted properly.	Good The students used support from the text to defend their definition. The text is quoted, but there are minor mistakes.	Fair The student used support from the text. It attempts to defend their definition. The text is quoted, but there are clear mistakes.	Poor The textual evidence is not present. OR The text is not quoted in the correct way.
