Did Not Meet the Standard Students were not able to correctly identify SOME adjectives	Emerging student did not understand the concept of Adjective and could not identify ANY adjectives
Open Response	Meets the Standard Students were able to vividly describe why their selection was an adjective through use of reason and examples.	Approaching the Standard Students were somewhat able to describe why their selection was an adjective through use of reason and examples	Did Not Meet the Standard Students could not describe why their answer choice was an adjective.
