Effective Coaching- Coaching Philosophy Rubric 
The student is to write a final coaching philosophy. The paper should include in this order the following categories: 1. Philosophy of coaching 2. Coaching goals and objectives 3. Coaching for character plan (a. Putting what is best for the athletes first. b. Committment to the athletes c. Ethical behavior. d. Importance of striving for excellence) 4. A code of conduct for your student athletes. 5. Parental relationship gudielines.
