Quits work a little early because the project is at a good stopping spot for the day. Uses remaining class time effectively. Progress on project is moderate.
Profecient

Student gets project out at the beginning of class and works the entire period on the project, bell to bell. Progress on project is evident every day. Manages class time very effectively
Directions

Basic

Student does not follow directions and ignores skills demonstrated during class instruction.<BR>
Requires signifigant amount of teacher time one on one to explain directions.
Approaching

Student pays close attention to directions and practices skills demonstrated in class instruction. Attempts to follow written directions. Requires some one on one teacher time to explain directions.
Profecient

Student pays very close attention to directions and carefully practices skills as demonstrated in class. Reads and follows written directions with little input from the teacher.
Workmanship

Basic

Work done is poorly executed and incomplete. <BR>
Loose stitching, poor measurements, inconsistent seams. Project is not going to last.
Approaching

Project is done in a manner that exhibits good workmanship most of the time. Some mistakes are evident, seams are not all consistent, stitching may be loose in spots.
Profecient

Excellent workmanship is evident. Project has consistent seams, few mistakes, tight stitches.<BR>
Measurements are accurate. Project is well constructed.
