Comida de México 
Students will create a presentation on the food that is characteristically eaten in Mexico. Students will research Mexican food and include a recipe. Students will write about why they selected the recipe. How do the ingredients tie to what was learned?

Student prepares food and shares it with the class.

Poor

Students either did not prepare food but shared it or did not prepare food nor share it.
Fair

Students shared food with the class but did not prepare it. There was no evidence that the student was an active participant in the preparation.
Good

Student prepared recipe and shared their food with the class. Student shared video of the preparation. It is clear that the student was an active participant in the preparation of the recipe.
Language

Student explains the influence of their food. Student speak about the ingredients and its origin.

Poor

During presentation english text is present or errors in Spanish text inhibit understanding.
Fair

During presentation there are some errors, but they do not hinder understanding.
Good

During presentation student uses current and new vocabulary and grammatical structures well. Very few to no errors.
