The weighting is adjusted on the difficulty level of the questions and the amount. There is not a standard grade for the same type of assignment, and if there is, they are in similar levels of difficulty and amount.

The weighting is partly adjusted properly for each assignment.

The weighting is not adjusted.
Points per Assignment

Fair

Each type of assignment has a fair range of weighting compared to the difficulty and amount of other assignments.

There is some unexpected variance that does not agree with the type of assignment.

There is much unexpected variance that does not agree with the type of assignment.
Points per Percent

Fair

There are enough points in a quarter that guarantee that a single point will not affect the percent.
Moderate

There are less points in a quarter than there should be, but there are enough so 1 point will not affect the entire quarter.

There are too few points in a quarter than there should be.
